The class includes immersion dyeing, direct application dyeing, gradation dyeing, color-to-color dyeing, Shibori, tie dyeing, ice dyeing, discharging, and sun painting -- and the only things you need to bring are 4 fat quarters, from different manufacturers, of 100% cotton black or dark fabric. Kari provides you with 10 yards of white fabric to work with. This class will be held at Kari's home in the Scenic Apple Hill area. A lovely lunch will be provided for you both days. Sound too good to be true? It isn't!!!! You will have time after each session to stretch your wings and try the techniques, so bring a t-shirt or two (white for dyeing or painting, black for discharging). Be sure they are 100% cotton. Onesies are fun, too! Be sure to wear old clothes and comfortable shoes!

Please see our website for descriptions/pictures of all of our other classes and groups:

New Fabrics and More

We now have all the colors of the new Sue Spargo Razzle and Dazzle threads and they are gorgeous!  (Well, we did have them all.  We've had to reorder some of them already!)  We also have Halloween, Fall, and Christmas fabrics, and new ones are arriving each week.  Our Halloween collections include a wonderful selection of the Ghastlies from Alexander Henry.  We've also received bright, contemporary prints from Alexander Henry, rayon batiks, and basic flannels.  From Kona Bay, we have Sanctuary, a beautiful Asian collection featuring butterflies.  And we have this charming line from Clothworks with a gardening theme.

And remember the beautiful Christmas block of the month we did last year--House Warming Party?  Well, we've managed to put two more kits together for this quilt.  The kits include the patterns and all the fabrics for the quilt top.

Come in the week before or after your birthday
to get 20% off one purchase!
Also, if you buy the end of the bolt,
you get 10% off that fabric! (Every day!)

Thank you for being one of our wonderful customers!
