The class includes immersion dyeing, direct application dyeing, gradation dyeing, color-to-color dyeing, Shibori, tie dyeing, ice dyeing, discharging, and sun painting -- and the only things you need to bring are 4 fat quarters, from different manufacturers, of 100% cotton black or dark fabric. Kari provides you with 10 yards of white fabric to work with. This class will be held at Kari's home in the Scenic Apple Hill area. A lovely lunch will be provided for you both days. Sound too good to be true? It isn't!!!! You will have time after each session to stretch your wings and try the techniques, so bring a t-shirt or two (white for dyeing or painting, black for discharging). Be sure they are 100% cotton. Onesies are fun, too! Be sure to wear old clothes and comfortable shoes!
