Class Cancellation Policy

Click on the name of the class to see the teacher, schedule, and other information for that class.

To reserve a place in a class, the class fee must be paid at the time you register.  Thistle Dew Quilt Shoppe (TDQS) reserves the right to cancel a class if the required minimum enrollment is not met.  Earliest notification will be given and the participant may choose either a full refund or a TDQS credit.

If a student cannot attend a class, for whatever reason, a refund will be given only if the student notifies TDQS at least one week (7 days) before the class start date.  This is because the teacher needs at least 1 week to prepare for the class, and the teacher and Thistle Dew incur expenses to set up the class.

Come and help make blankets for the Sutter Roseville NICU. A blanket on top of an isolette helps retain warmth, muffles noises, and allows parents to easily identify their baby, and the blanket goes with the family when the baby's stay at the NICU is finished. Bring supplies to make a blanket of your choice (quilted, knitted, crocheted, fleeced, etc.) and a potluck dish to share. Finished blankets should be 36"x36". This is a good opportunity for young people looking to fulfill community service requirements. If you would like to donate supplies or participate on your own at home, contact Susan. 3rd Friday of each month, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Have you ever wondered how to insert a circle or an oval into a quilt? Let Helen teach you a piecing method that works every time. There is no hand-stitching or applique involved. The quilt will finish approximately 40" x 50", a small wall quilt or a cute baby quilt. Helen Hardwick, Saturday, August 17, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., $40, supply list.

In this class, you will create your own design -- it can either be all confetti or a mix of fussy-cut fabrics and confetti. For inspirations, look at paintings by Impressionists -- flowers, trees, pathways, etc. Once your design is complete, you can sew the project into a wall hanging or quilt. (You probably won't get to the point of needing your sewing machine in class, but you might want to put your machine in your car, just in case.) Saturday, October 5, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. $45 class fee includes 4 packages of pre-made fabric confetti.

Cost: $ 45.00
